Last winter I had the great pleasure of watching the documentary ‘The Cool School’ at the BFI in London. Now the ICA are showing it again during the ‘Shoot Yr Idols’ season. This is a very good film about the LA art scene during the Beat era of America and should be a must for anyone interested in art and film!
Tomorrow Thursday 5th, Curzon Soho are showing the 20-year-old film ‘Lets Get Lost’ a documentary about famous jazz musician Chet Baker. After the screening the director, fashion photographer Bruce Weber, will take part in a Q&A.

This is one of my favorite pubs in London, The Hawley Arms, going up in flames during the big fire in Camden Market last night. Today is a sad day…
