And staying in the photographic world German based gallery, Monika Sprüth and Philomene Magers, celebrates the opening of their new London branch with the exhibition of German photographer ANDREAS GURSKY. For this exhibition the gallery will show work from the last five years.

Influential American photographer Stephen Shore visits London on Friday 30 March. Here he will sign copies of his latest publication ‘The Nature of Photographs’ and do a talk. It all happens at The Photographer’s Gallery with book signing from 17.30 – 18.30 and talk at 19.00.

Today The Joshua Tree album celebrates it’s 20th aniversary. This is the album that made U2 the mega superstars they are thought of today and gave them their big breakthrough in America. The Joshua Tree was inspired by U2′s intensive travelling within the US and was clearly inspired by the gospel, blues and country music they had explored on their way.
