Just found out I terribly missed out on a gadget in the winter. Together with Paul Smith, HP Sauce produced 1899 limited edition bottles, the same number as the year where the sauce was introduced. Each bottle was numbered and came with its own certificate of authentication. The bottle retailed at £2.95. Sold exclusively at Harrods as part of the “Truly British” season.

Was out planespotting today with my good friend Rasmus in Copenhagen International Airport. Last picture is of an international planespotter from UK.

Lee Friedlander

— April 6, 2006

One of the most important American documentary photographers, Lee Friedlander now shows in Denmark at the Museum of Photography – Brandts Klædefabrik in Odense. From April 8th till June 11th 2006.
What the V & A says:
Together with figures such as Garry Winogrand and Diane Arbus, Lee Friedlander transformed American documentary photography in the 1960′s. By the late 1970′s he was widely seen as one of the most penetrating photographers of American cities. In Friedlander’s images, surfaces are frequently broken, disrupted, or complicated; objects jut forward, obscuring others. Mirrors and windows reflect and refract events already in flux. Through his oblique take on the social and visual fabric of townscapes, unexpected patterns and social processes emerge.
