House-master who emerged from the second generation of house music that came out of Chicago in the early to mid nineties. Always renowned for blending house and techno, it was only in 2001 when Felix developed electro and he created what has now become Felix’s sound. This sound would go on to be one that reinvented house and changed development and recognition of Europe’s thriving electro scene, firmly establishing Felix Da Housecat as a true innovator of dance music.

A few years ago I had some of the best nights out in a city called Paris with a dear friend named Ashkan. It was at a place called “Favela Chic,” a Brazilian restaurant where after dinner people started drinking caipirinhas and danced on the tables. I also met a girl named Laetitia who worked in the cloakroom but that’s another story… Well now we can enjoy it in still very hip Shoreditch in London.

For all you singles out there I think this short film and the expanding singing by birds in trees gives us all a bit of hope after a long and cold winter.

Well U2, of course. And for the first time since 1987, where they won Album of The Year with “The Joshua Tree,” they get “the big one” again with “How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.” Personallly I have to say that the year 1992 really had to be a tough one than with “Achtung Baby” out there not winning… (It went to Eric Clapton and “Unplugged.”)
U2 have now won 21 Grammys putting them 6th in the all time standings.
